Coached by Deb Heneman with Steve Burke as Assistant Coach, twenty-three athletes actively participate in track & field and other events offered at various venues. During the month of May each year, the Toledo Raptors stay especially busy with Ohio Wheelchair Games in Columbus, Ohio and the Michigan Games. Our group has traveled as far as South Carolina and Canada to compete and represent the NW Ohio Chapter of Spinal Cord Injury Association. We have won several team titles as well as having a large number of individual event winners. Members of the Toledo Raptors wheelchair sports team have set records and broken records including their own.
