Our site is undergoing a massive make-over and we invite you to stop back often for updates, changes, and additional information.

We are committed to sustaining a supportive community that offers educational and recreational opportunities for individuals with spinal cord injuries and related neurological diseases. Together we provide emotional support for families and friends, as well as promoting community awareness and the prevention of spinal cord injuries.

Fishing Without Boundaries

NWONSCIA Fishing Trip to Port Clinton on Thursday, August 21. Everyone arrived at the docks by 7:30am for a day of fishing on the "Irish Drifter" Captain Taylor and First Mate Dillion went out of their way to make sure that our trip was a very memorable event. We couldn't have asked for better weather and the water was calm. After we were settled in and the poles went into the water it didn't take long for the fish to start nibbling. Participants included Sean and Jack Burrell, and Sean's Dad; Hank and his parents Nona and Hank; Alicia and her Dad Roger; Ginny and Mark; Marcella, John Jack and their son Shawn; Deb and Steve; Zena and Kalee.

NWONSCIA Meetings

Meetings are held the third Monday of the month at the Mulford Library Cafe in the basement. This meeting is primarily the business aspect of the meeting to cover issues that need to be address but we try to make time for some socialization. We are going to try to provide a light meal as this meeting will be over the dinner hour for most and with travel this will make things more convenient. Drinks can be purchased right outside the doors from the vending machines. There are hot and cold items along with snack items.
